Convert Legal Land Description to Latitude and Longitude

Valid Quarters
      An LSD        1 - 16
      A Quarter     NW NE SW SE
      A Half        N S E W
      Full Section  [leave blank]

Valid Sections are  1 -  36
Valid Townships are 1 - 127
Valid Ranges are    1 -  34
Valid Meridians are 0 -   7

A township may not have all the sections,

Ranges may not go up to 34 for each meridian 
at higher latitudes, but will never go outside this range.

Meridian 0 is used for E1 or East of the First Meridian

Meridian 1 is W1
Meridian 2 is W2
Meridian 3 is W3
Meridian 4 is W4
Meridian 5 is W5
Meridian 6 is W6
Meridian 7 is W7

The Clear Button will clear all the data entry fields.

Convert USA Public Land Survey System to Latitude and Longitude

Valid Quarters

      A Quarter     NW NE SW SE
      A Half        N S E W
      Full Section  [leave blank]  

All the other parameters have valid ranges 
depending upon the meridian.

Convert Latitude and Longitude to Canadian Legal Land Description

This function will automatically decide if the coordinates 
are Canadian or American and do the appropriate conversion.

Coordinates can be entered in 3 formats at any time,
regardless of the settings on the 'Setup' screen.

   Degrees 
     eg: 50.01543 -112.6144
     
   Degrees and Minutes
     eg: 50:0.9258  -112:36.86406
      
   Degrees Minutes and Seconds
     eg: 50:0:55.548  -112:36:51.84
     
Note that North American Longitudes are proceeded with a negative sign

Note that a colon ':' is the Standard Method to seperate 
  Degrees, Minutes and Seconds on the Android

Get Current GPS Coordinates from Satellite and Convert to Canadian Legal Land Desciption

This function will retrieve your current Latitude and Longitude
from the GPS satellite network and convert it to  
Legal Land Description, LSD, NTS and UTM / MGRS / USNG coordinates

  Press the Acquire button to begin receiving GPS signals.
  
  This Acquire button will change to 'Stop' button.
  
  Pressing the 'Stop' button will stop recieving GPS signals.
    
  If you let this function run, it will receive 24 sets of coordinates
    and then stop automatically.
    
  The most accurate coordinates are stored for conversion.
       
  Press the Convert Button to run the conversions.
